About me

Well Ladies here I am.
Basics:
I am a 35 year old man who has recently found himself single again.
I have my own place, my own vehicle and my own life. I have two jobs and they can be stressful at times but I manage and enjoy my work regardless.
I also have a big supportive family and a small but fabulous circle of friends so my time is often at a premium however I can make time for those important to me.

Who I am:
I am a Retro-Sexual, I believe a man should give up his seat on the bus for a Lady, we should hold the door for the people behind us Smile and say good morning to people on the street and actually talk to our Neighbors.
I am a bit of a Tech geek and love anything with moving parts, Yes I was that kid that would take his toys apart to see how they worked. (Most of the Time I at least had the good sense to wait till they where broken)
I also love camping and getting out in to the Mountains, Yes I am a city dweller and do enjoy the amenities of the city, however I think of myself as a country boy at heart. Calgary is a great city for me as you can get the best of both worlds.

I try and keep active and in shape but am not obsessed with Fitness, I look for activities I enjoy doing that have the side effect of keeping me in shape. Myself I don’t see the point of pay for the privilege of sitting on a stationary bike or walking on a treadmill looking at a wall when you could do both of those things outside in the real world. That being said Gyms do have their place and I have actually been thinking of trying hot yoga (and not just to check out girls in yoga pants (God bless Yoga pants))

I am the type of person who keeps booster cables, a tow rope and tools in the truck and will stop to help a stranded motorist when practical.
I like to give when I can and enjoy volunteering.

Personality:
I can be shy at first and have been known to turn quite red (especially talking to women) don’t let that stop you however you may be able to make my face red but you won’t insult me so give it your best shot.
I am curious, open minded and love to try new things, there are so many great things out there and you never know till you try.
In my mind there is no Box 25% of the things I buy are never used for their intended purpose.
My sense of humor is probably best described as strange, those who don’t know me may think I am straight laced and possibly dry but take the time to get to know me and you will get to see my humor.
I like to give when people don’t expect it and can be romantic in my own way, you are more likely to get flowers or such on a random day when I know you are stressed than you are on Valentine ’s Day.
If you demand everything from me you will get nothing but if you appreciate what I have to give you will get a lot.

Other:
I love Cats and Dogs and all animals but Dogs are better than Cats,
Anyone that is cruel to animals is going to have an issue with me that being said I am a meatatarian, Some animals are food and that is just the way it is.
(On the subject of animals I have a joke: Q: How do you tell who loves you more, your dog or you girlfriend? A: Lock them both in the trunk of your car for an hour and see who is happier to see you when you let them out.
Disclaimer: I would never lock a dog in the trunk of a car.)

I like old cars, 4x4ing shooting and hunting and have been known to play video games here in there. (When is the last time you played Super Mario on an original NES?)

I am not into games so if we meet and find out we are not a match no hard feelings, we can just be friend’s or shack hands and go our separate ways.
