The Coolest Event On Earth comes to Yonge-Dundas Square over Family Day weekend.  

The Sears Great Canadian Chill is bringing the traditional polar bear dip to the heart of the city. Participants will be taking the plunge into a custom built pool filled with icy cold water in support of the Sears Canada Charitable Foundation supporting pediatric oncology initiatives.  With two opportunities to Chill, entertainment and activities, there is sure to be something that sparks everyone’s interests.   

• Sunday, Feb. 17, will feature a night-time Chill party featuring a DJ, live entertainment and contests.
• A Winter Family Festival on Monday, Feb. 18, will be complete with family Chilling and activities for the whole gang! 

Proceeds from the event will be evenly allocated between patient support at SickKids and national pediatric oncology research initiatives.
