About me

I am a sexy Jewish big beautiful woman (non-religious)working as a preschool special education teacher in Brooklyn. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and still live in the same area. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and have been burned many times because of it. I am witty and well educated. I recently completed my masters after taking a little detour. I am passionate about continuing my education and would love to earn a 2nd masters degree and advance to an Assistant Principal position someday. I believe that we can learn so much from one another and I have learned alot from teachers I work with (as I'm sure they have with me). I enjoy surrounding myself with positive goal-oriented people with similar interests.

What I'm looking for

I am recently single and heartborken after being involved with someone for 4 years. I'm having a hard time being alone for the holidays (and being surrounded by married friends with families). I've come to realize that I'm better off happy and alone than unhappy and involved. It took me a while to realize that. Feeling alone while involved with someone and fighting often should've been a red flag but I guess I was gullable and wanted to see the good in him (like I do with everyone) and I regret it. I am looking for someone with similiar interests- I enjoy going to comedy clubs, karaoke, traveling (day and weekend trips) dancing, broadway/off broadway shows,and dining out. I am open to trying new things (within reason). It would be nice to find someone with 'old-fashioned' values and I think it's time I found a guy who would treat me like a princess. He should be intelligent, mature, charming, goal-oriented, romantic, affectionate and honest. Communication is sky in any relationship. I prefer planning things in advance but do occasionally do 'last minute' things. I am looking to date and settle down with the right guy. I am marriage minded (I'm not getting any younger)and will date outside my religion and men with children. However, I am NOT willing to raise my another religion and I don't believe it's fair to make them decide what religion they want to be when they are older. I have seen this happen firsthand, as most of my cousin married non-Jews. So please be willing to understand that and not try to change me.
